Join the Anaesthetics & Critical Care Society for an interactive ABCDE simulation session focused on the assessment and management of the acutely unwell patient, with a gastrointestinal focus.
This session will be facilitated by an anaesthetic trainee, providing practical insight into real-world acute care, escalation, and prioritisation โ essential skills for OSCEs, finals, and F1 practice.
A clear, structured ABCDE approach to the sick patient
Management of common acute GI scenarios
Practical tips for performing confidently in OSCEs
Feedback from an experienced anaesthetic clinician
Skills directly transferable to F1 and beyond
Certificate of completion signed by a GMC-accredited doctor

By booking onto/attending an SU event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
For Your SU led events, ticket refunds are available on request to yoursuevents@sunderland.ac.uk.
Full refunds will be available within 14 days of the ticket booking date, unless the event is due to go ahead within 72 hours. This is to allow us to make the ticket available for resale. If a refund is requested more than 14 days after booking, or the event is taking place within 72 hours, a refund cannot be claimed.
Tickets are non transferable and cannot be re-sold. Any tickets that are found to be transferred or re-sold will not be valid. The only place you can buy a valid ticket for a Sunderland SU event is via our website.
Unless otherwise stated, participants are not permitted to attend with children due to safeguarding and risk assessment reasons.
Unless otherwise stated, our events are open to STUDENTS of the University of Sunderland ONLY.
