Start Your Society

Can't see the Society you're looking for? You can set up your own in a few simple steps!

Starting your own society is a great way to build your own community and help like-minded students get together at the University. You'll also gain lots of transferable skills that sound great to employers and make friends for life along the way!

3 simple steps to set up a new society:

  1. Find up to five students to help you run the Society (bonus points if you assign the role of President (or Co-President(s), Vice President,Treasurer, Secretary, Welfare Officer)
  2. Email us on londonsu@sunderland.ac.uk  to request a Society Registration Form 
  3. Your SU decides on Society approval 
  4. We'll be in touch via email with the outcome within two weeks! :)
