Law Society Fundraising Dinner
We are excited to announce this years Student Law Society dinner held at the Roker Hotel on 22nd March 2024 - 7pm -12am!
We have organised the dinner to help aid in the clinics efforts to raise funds for the law works challenge!
Law works is a pro-bono charity which widens access to justice for those without the means and fund vital pro-bono legal advice to those in need.
All excess funds raised will be going to the Law clinics efforts as part of the Law School Challenge for 2023/24!
Tickets include;
- Welcome drink
- 3 course set meal
Starter
Carrot and coriander Soup, served with Crispy carrot
Main course
Grilled Chicken Breast, served with dauphinoise potatoes, buttered greens and mocha jus
Dessert
Sticky Toffee Pudding with Caramel Sauce and Vanilla Ice cream
Please state any dietary requirements/allegies- (the venue will cater for vegiterian/vegan/gluten intolerances..)
- DJ
- Raffle with some amazing prizes ranging from an Holistic treatment to wall climbing vouchers!
Plus ones will require a separate ticket!
Dress code - formal/black-tie!
Deadline to purchase tickets is Monday 11th March 2024 at 6pm

Event Terms and Conditions
By booking onto/attending an SU event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
For Your SU led events, ticket refunds are available on request toyoursuevents@sunderland.ac.uk.
Full refunds will be available until 8Th March 2024.
This is to allow us to make the ticket available for resale. If a refund is requested after the 8Th March 2024, a refund cannot be claimed.
If the event is cancelled you will recieve a full refund or if the date is changed your ticket will be transferred or a refund can be requested.
Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be re-sold. Any tickets that are found to be transferred or re-sold will not be valid. The only place you can buy a valid ticket for a Sunderland SU event is via our website.
Unless otherwise stated, participants are not permitted to attend with children due to safeguarding and risk assessment reasons.
Unless otherwise stated, our events are open to STUDENTS of the University of Sunderland ONLY.

Full refunds will be available within 14 days of the ticket booking date, unless the event is due to go ahead within 72 hours. This is to allow us to make the ticket available for resale. If a refund is requested more than 14 days after booking, or the event is taking place within 72 hours, a refund cannot be claimed.
