Volunteer with Love, Amelia
National Student Volunteering Week 2025: Volunteer with Love, Amelia
We organise these sessions with Love, Amelia as an opportunity to find out more about the charity and support with one of their donation days.
The session starts at 11am for a welcome and induction, running until 2pm.
It will be an active few hours, lots of moving of donations, so please wear something appropriate (trainers, jeans, t-shirt maybe a hoodie which you can remove if you get too hot), bring some beverages and possibly some snacks as it will be taking place over the lunch period.
This is a great opportunity to meet new people and enhance skills, from communication, team work, willingness to learn and organising. Do ask the team about all the ways you can volunteer with Love, Amelia, your support can continue for as long as you want.
Places are limited to 8 and this event is usually very popular, so please book your place asap. If it is full at the time of booking you will be added to a waiting list. We do ask that should you be unable to attend, please cancel as soon as you can so the opportunity to attend can be offered to another person.
Once you have booked further information will be sent to you via email 48 hours prior to the session.

By booking onto/attending an SU event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
For Your SU led events, ticket refunds are available on request to yoursuevents@sunderland.ac.uk.
Full refunds will be available within 14 days of the ticket booking date, unless the event is due to go ahead within 72 hours. This is to allow us to make the ticket available for resale. If a refund is requested more than 14 days after booking, or the event is taking place within 72 hours, a refund cannot be claimed.
Tickets are non transferable and cannot be re-sold. Any tickets that are found to be transferred or re-sold will not be valid. The only place you can buy a valid ticket for a Sunderland SU event is via our website.
Unless otherwise stated, participants are not permitted to attend with children due to safeguarding and risk assessment reasons.
Unless otherwise stated, our events are open to STUDENTS of the University of Sunderland ONLY.
