Join us and the Mayoral candidates at this important moment for democracy and power in the North East!
Devolution provides an exciting new opportunity to tackle some of the vital areas and issues that affect people's lives. It brings huge investment and opportunity to the region - and we want you to have a say.
At this Assembly, mayoral candidates will be asked to respond to some of the issues that Tyne & Wear Citizens have been campaigning on after extensive listening across the region - this includes the cost of living and housing crises, racial justice, mental health and transport.
We are seeking positive commitments and an ongoing working relationship with the new mayor.

By booking onto/attending an SU event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
For Your SU led events, ticket refunds are available on request to yoursuevents@sunderland.ac.uk.
Full refunds will be available within 14 days of the ticket booking date, unless the event is due to go ahead within 72 hours. This is to allow us to make the ticket available for resale. If a refund is requested more than 14 days after booking, or the event is taking place within 72 hours, a refund cannot be claimed.
Tickets are non transferable and cannot be re-sold. Any tickets that are found to be transferred or re-sold will not be valid. The only place you can buy a valid ticket for a Sunderland SU event is via our website.
Unless otherwise stated, participants are not permitted to attend with children due to safeguarding and risk assessment reasons.
Unless otherwise stated, our events are open to STUDENTS of the University of Sunderland ONLY.
