Trip to York Christmas Market
Join Your SU for our festive coach trip to York Christmas Market!
York is a beautiful city in the heart of Yorkshire, with a rich history & lots of incredible places to see.
You told us last year that you'd like to spend more time at the Christmas Market location and also get to spend some of the evening there to experience the full winter wonderland atmosphere, so this year, we have chosen a Christmas Market a little closer to home, and also moved to a later pick up time.
After a 90 minute coach journey, you will have a full day and evening (over 8 hours!) to explore & discover everything the beautiful city has to offer and experience their famous Christmas Market!
From it's famous Cathedral & Castle Walls to it's muesums & heritage centre. Plus shops, parks and restaurants, and of course the wonderful Christmas Market full of it's famous alpine chalets, you will not be short of sights to see!
The coach will leave from Sunderland City Campus at 10:00am, arriving in York for approx. 11:30am & with the return journey at 8pm back to Sunderland for 9:30pm.
Tickets are £17, a price freeze from last year!
We'll also provide you with a handy guidebook to the city, with lots of great suggestions for places to visit & explore during your time there.

By booking onto/attending an SU event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
For Your SU led events, ticket refunds are available on request to yoursuevents@sunderland.ac.uk.
Full refunds will be available within 14 days of the ticket booking date, unless the event is due to go ahead within 72 hours. This is to allow us to make the ticket available for resale. If a refund is requested more than 14 days after booking, or the event is taking place within 72 hours, a refund cannot be claimed.
Tickets are non transferable and cannot be re-sold. Any tickets that are found to be transferred or re-sold will not be valid. The only place you can buy a valid ticket for a Sunderland SU event is via our website.
Unless otherwise stated, participants are not permitted to attend with children due to safeguarding and risk assessment reasons.
Unless otherwise stated, our events are open to STUDENTS of the University of Sunderland ONLY.
