Trip to Sheffield
Join Your SU for a day out in Sheffield City Centre!
Discover the biggest city in South Yorkshire in our coach trip to Sheffield. Once the heart of the industrial revolution and the biggest producer of steel in the U.K, modern Sheffield is now filled with gardens, squares and a fantastic shopping district, along with museums of its past and a great technolgical future with the National Video Game Museum, and a beautiful Cathedral.
You'll have approx. 7 hours to explore everything that Sheffield has to offer!
The coach will leave from Sunderland City Campus at 8:00am, arriving in Sheffield for approx. 10:45am with the return journey at 6:00 pm back to Sunderland for 8:45 pm
You asked to know more about how the costings of our day trips work and we can tell you that the £20 cost of this ticket is used to fund the price of the coach hire for the day. If you were to do a similar trip by train at this time and date, it would cost around £50.
We'll also provide you with a handy guidebook to the City, with lots of great suggestions for places to visit & explore during your time there.

By booking onto/attending an SU event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
For Your SU led events, ticket refunds are available on request to yoursuevents@sunderland.ac.uk.
Full refunds will be available within 14 days of the ticket booking date, unless the event is due to go ahead within 72 hours. This is to allow us to make the ticket available for resale. If a refund is requested more than 14 days after booking, or the event is taking place within 72 hours, a refund cannot be claimed.
Tickets are non transferable and cannot be re-sold. Any tickets that are found to be transferred or re-sold will not be valid. The only place you can buy a valid ticket for a Sunderland SU event is via our website.
Unless otherwise stated, participants are not permitted to attend with children due to safeguarding and risk assessment reasons.
Unless otherwise stated, our events are open to STUDENTS of the University of Sunderland ONLY.
