Trip to Manchester
Join Your SU for a fantastic city trip to Manchester!
At the end of each trip we ask you where you would like to visit in the future and Manchester is always top of that list... so Your SU are bringing it back for 2024!
Manchester is a beautiful city with a rich history of music, sport & culture which means there are lots of incredible places to see.
We want to make this day out as memorable as possible, so when the coach arrives in the city, you'll have approx. 7 hours free time to explore and discover everything the Mancunian city has to offer.
From its famous football stadiums to its muesums, parks and landmarks. Plus a whole host of shops and restaurants - you will not be short of sights to see, gifts to buy and food to eat!
We will meet outside Your SU @ CitySpace on Sunderland City Campus for 7:45am, arriving in Manchester for approx. 11am and with the return journey at 6pm back to Sunderland City Campus for 9pm.
Tickets are just £22. This is much cheaper than it would be to travel by train from Sunderland to Manchester (approx. £75-90)
We'll also provide you with a handy guidebook to the city, with lots of great suggestions for places to visit and explore during your time there.
Tickets for our events sell FAST, so book now to avoid missing out!
This trip is NOT a guided tour. If you would like a tour of Manchester, you will need to book these seperately.

Event Terms and Conditions
By booking onto/attending an SU event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
For Your SU led events, ticket refunds are available on request to yoursuevents@sunderland.ac.uk.
Full refunds will be available within 14 days of the ticket booking date, unless the event is due to go ahead within 72 hours. This is to allow us to make the ticket available for resale. If a refund is requested more than 14 days after booking, or the event is taking place within 72 hours, a refund cannot be claimed.
Tickets are non transferable and cannot be re-sold. Any tickets that are found to be transferred or re-sold will not be valid. The only place you can buy a valid ticket for a Sunderland SU event is via our website.
Unless otherwise stated, participants are not permitted to attend with children due to safeguarding and risk assessment reasons.
Unless otherwise stated, our events are open to STUDENTS of the University of Sunderland ONLY.
