Join Your SU, the University of Sunderland & The BAME Staff Network for a glorious day full of activities, traditional performances and a range of delicious food from all over the world.

The Global Food Festival is based on the concept that food unites us all. The event brings people together by celebrating diversity through our common love for tasty and nutritious food. The event encompasses both equality and inclusion as we share cuisines from across the world. It represents both our staff and students who come from a range of diverse backgrounds & cultures.

The event will be taking place throughout City Space at 11am until 3pm on Thursday 31st March 2022.

A taste of what's to come: 

Middle East – Lebanese

Za’atar flatbread served with Tabbouleh salad (Vegan)

Maamoul- a filled biscuit

Caribbean / Africa

Piri piri chicken leg served with spicy rice (Halal & GF)

Tropical Smoothie (Vegan & GF)
