Society Skills Workshop: Creative Fundraising & Event Planning Workshop

These workshops are being delivered by the Entrepreneurial Development team, Centre for Graduate Prospects. For more opportunities to log into the Employability and Enterprise Hub via go.sunderland.ac.uk/ignite.

This workshop will help you and your team unlock creative potential and discover new, innovative ways to raise money and host events that capture the interest of your members.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Techniques for brainstorming fresh fundraising ideas that go beyond the usual options.

  • Creative ways to combine fun and fundraising— to stand out and attract attention across campus.

Why attend?
Let’s face it—raising funds and planning events can get repetitive. But with this workshop, you’ll gain access to a toolkit of ideas and techniques that will make your society’s fundraising efforts more successful, creative, and fun!

By attending, you’ll learn how to:

  • Stand out from other societies by hosting unique, engaging events.

  • Create a buzz around your fundraisers, helping you to hit your financial targets.

  • Build a stronger connection with your members by offering more exciting and meaningful experiences.

The start-up support from the University of Sunderland forms part of the Enterprising Sunderland project which has received £1,271,885 from the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund Programme, managed in Sunderland by Sunderland City Council on behalf of the Sunderland Partnership.
