Come and see Gary Bennett, Sunderland SAFC former captain to listen to what he has to say about Racism (not only) in sports!
Similar to last year, we are delighted to have this event supported by the SAFC football club who have generously donated some free football tickets for the Sunderland Everton match that is taking place on Sunday, 9th of November. One ticket per person, first-come - first-served basis.
Show Racism the Red Card is an anti-racism charity, which was established in January 1996. The aim of the organisation is to produce anti-racist educational resources, which harness the high profile of professional footballers to combat racism.
We are very happy to have Show Racism the Red Card to come over for our Diversity Month and give a talk about racism (not only in sports).
You will hear from Gary Bennett, Sunderland SAFC former captain as well as the charity’s learning manager about how racism and racist behaviour is wrong and how we together can move towards a more tolerant and harmonious society.
