The Students' Union with the help of volunteers want to show the planet some love and what better way to do so, by taking part in a beach clean! 

Working with Surfers Against Sewage and following on from last year’s hugely successful BSBC (which saw over 3250 volunteers remove over 35 tonnes from 135 beaches), SAS are once again calling for volunteers to take part in the SAS Big Spring Beach Cleans 2015.

Roker Beach needs your helping hands on the Saturday 14th March, join SAS and your local community for a beach clean from (your event timings here) as part of the biggest Big Spring Beach Clean ever.

We have organised 2 meetings points for staff and students:
10.15am - City Space, City Campus
10.45am - Prospect Building, St. Peter's Campus

We will be walking across to St. Peter's Campus or getting the Connect 700 bus. Please be on time to ensure we leave and get to location quickly.
