LONDON: Greenwich Cable Car Sightseeing Trip
Enjoy a unique experience on the UK's first and only urban cable car!
As you fly 90 metres above the River Thames, you'll enjoy spectacular views of the capital including:
- St Paul's Cathedral
- The Gherkin
- Thames Barrier
- Maritime Greenwich
- Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
The London Cable Car, now called the IFS Cloud Cable Car, won a Travelers' Choice 2022 award for the 'Things to Do in London' category.
OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS
Date: Thursday 28th November 2024
Time: 2pm - 5pm
Where: Meet on the 3rd Floor, Marsh Wall at the SU Helpdesk and we will travel together. If you wish to meet us at Greenwich, please let us know via the email below.
Cost: £8.50 (FREE DLR travel and a discounted return trip on the cable car)

By booking onto/attending an SU event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
For Your SU led events, ticket refunds are available on request to yoursuevents@sunderland.ac.uk.
Full refunds will be available within 14 days of the ticket booking date, unless the event is due to go ahead within 72 hours. This is to allow us to make the ticket available for resale. If a refund is requested more than 14 days after booking, or the event is taking place within 72 hours, a refund cannot be claimed.
Tickets are non transferable and cannot be re-sold. Any tickets that are found to be transferred or re-sold will not be valid. The only place you can buy a valid ticket for a Sunderland SU event is via our website.
Unless otherwise stated, participants are not permitted to attend with children due to safeguarding and risk assessment reasons.
Unless otherwise stated, our events are open to STUDENTS of the University of Sunderland ONLY.
