Freshers Fest is bringing the energy, colour and excitement of Freshers Week to the heart of City Campus for an unmissable afternoon of food, music and entertainment.
Taking over CitySpace and spilling out across campus, this vibrant festival atmosphere is the perfect way to kick off your first full weekday of Freshers. Whether you're meeting new friends, exploring campus or simply soaking up the buzz, Freshers Fest is all about celebrating the start of your Sunderland journey.
Throughout the afternoon, you'll be treated to live performances from the incredible Storytellers Streetband and fantastic local acoustic singer Dan Maple. Keep an eye out for spectacular roaming performers, including stilt walkers and breathtaking fire performers, bringing surprises and festival vibes wherever you look.
When it's time to refuel, a fantastic selection of street food vendors will be on hand. Grab classic fish and chips from Little Fishy, enjoy Japanese-inspired favourites from Arigato Grill, or see what the tasty Love Leaf Tea have to offer.
Freshers Fest is your chance to experience the Students' Union at its most welcoming and energetic, bringing students together to celebrate, connect and make memories from day one.
Come along, grab some food, enjoy the entertainment and discover why Freshers Week is one of the most exciting times of the year.
