Buddies Welcome Social
Kick off your university journey in style with the SU Buddies Welcome Social! As part of the thrilling Welcome Week festivities, this event is designed to help you forge new connections, make friends, and immerse yourself in the campus community. If you are a buddy, this is a safe inclusive environment where you can both meet and get to know each other. You will also be able to meet other SU Buddies and new students.
The afternoon will include interactive games - and even the chance to win some vouchers that can be used around the city. This is a great way to forge some new meaningful connections, find likeminded people and get to know what the SU offers a little more. If you are not part of the SU Buddies programme already, feel free to come along and find out more about the programme. You can register your interest and get matched later so whether you're a new student or a returner who would like to volunteer and help someone out, come along to find out more!
This event is also open to students that have signed up to Umii and wish to meet their matches in person.
Please note that this is a Your SU Event and therefore is not included in any 'Wristband' offers, so you'll need to book this separately, however it is FREE!

Event Terms and Conditions
By booking onto/attending an SU event, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below.
For Your SU led events, ticket refunds are available on request to yoursuevents@sunderland.ac.uk.
Full refunds will be available within 14 days of the ticket booking date, unless the event is due to go ahead within 72 hours. This is to allow us to make the ticket available for resale. If a refund is requested more than 14 days after booking, or the event is taking place within 72 hours, a refund cannot be claimed.
Tickets are non transferable and cannot be re-sold. Any tickets that are found to be transferred or re-sold will not be valid. The only place you can buy a valid ticket for a Sunderland SU event is via our website.
Unless otherwise stated, participants are not permitted to attend with children due to safeguarding and risk assessment reasons.
Unless otherwise stated, our events are open to STUDENTS of the University of Sunderland ONLY.
