Your SU are teaming up with Sunderland Empire to once again offer you a fantastic deal to see an award winning musical, direct from the West End.

WINNER of Best New Musical (What’sOnStage Awards 2023), the West End smash-hit BONNIE & CLYDE is set to hold-up Sunderland following two hell-raising seasons in London’s West End.

Two small-town kids from the middle of nowhere became the biggest folk heroes in all America. They craved adventure—and each other. Their names were Bonnie and Clyde.

Starring Catherine Tyldesley (Coronation Street, Strictly Come Dancing) as Blanche, Alex James Hatton (Newsies, Heathers) and Katie Tonkinson (Bat Out of Hell) as the notorious lovers, joined by Sam Ferriday (The Cher Show) as Buck, with Jaz Ellington (The Voice) as The Preacher. Nate Landskroner (Waitress, Heathers) will play the role of Clyde at matinee performances, with Hana Ichijo playing the role of Bonnie at Saturday matinees.

Discover the electrifying story of love, adventure and crime that captured the attention of an entire nation. Featuring music by Tony® nominee Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde), lyrics by Tony® and Oscar® winner Don Black (Sunset Boulevard), a book by Emmy® Award nominee Ivan Menchell, directed and choreographed by Nick Winston.

We have 40 tickets to sell to University of Sunderland students at the discounted price of just £12. Your SU have negotiated a fantastic offer with Sunderland Empire and further subsidised the cost of the tickets to make them as cheap as possible.

The seats are in the stalls, and would usually cost approx. £35.

Please note that these tickets are only available for current University of Sunderland students and you must book these seperately through the SU website. 

During the booking process you will be asked if there are any student friends purchasing a ticket who you would like to be sat with. We will then allocate the seats accordingly and you will receive your tickets for the show a few days before the performance by email.
