This free live music event will see four finalists battle it out for the chance to perform live at the This is Tomorrow Festival.
Four finalists have been chosen by an independent panel of judges from Spark, The Bunker and Pop Recs – and now they are gearing up for our free Battle of the Bands final on 1 May – where you get to be the judge.
22 bands, made up of Sunderland students, graduates and staff, submitted videos of their music for the Battle of the Bands. After a tough judging process the final four were chosen, they are:
- Infernal Bloom
- SLEEPTAPE
- The Strands
- The Warm Collective

All four will hit the stage for our free Battle of the Bands final on Wednesday 1 May from 7pm at CitySpace
The winner of Battle of the Bands will be chosen by the audience, with the final prize being their chance to take to the stage at the This is Tomorrow Festival in Exhibition Park, Newcastle, on Friday 24 May in front of 15,000 people.
Get down early and see all four acts perform, then vote for your favourite to win. Receive a raffle ticket with each food/drink purchase and be entered into a draw to win a weekend pass for two to This Is Tomorrow festival.
