Friends of Backhouse and Barley Mow Park are holding a ZOMBIE RUN like no other to celebrate Halloween, on Friday 28^th October, 3pm – 7pm.

 

This isn’t going to be your average run, it is based on the cult classic film, Shaun of the Dead! Participants are tasked to find supplies in Backhouse park to help them survive and wait for it all to blow over. You as a zombie need to catch them before they reach safe ground, the Ivy House pub! 

 

So what do we need... We need YOU to transform yourself in to the undead and stop our unsuspecting participants! You will be given everything you need and the team will be on hand to transform you from the living to un-living.

 

It’s a great opportunity to have lots of fun, meet people from all over Sunderland and pick up some team skills along the way!

 

What else?

You will need to be able to walk or run to catch people as they try and find all the items. Beware not to catch the wrong people!  You’ll need to be at Backhouse park for 3pm to get ready for the run (location will be confirmed by the SU). You will also need suitable footwear as the ground can be slippy when wet.
