Are you interested in becoming a Buddy to a new student?

As well as the rewarding feeling you'll get from helping someone else, you'll also add valuable experience to your CV, particularly your communication and people skills. Also, we’ll provide training and support to help you be amazing in your role.

There’s no special criteria, we’re looking for enthusiastic continuing students (You must have completed a minimum of 1 semester at University) who want to volunteer to help new students feel welcome and settled in those first months of arrival well as checking in throughout their first academic year. 

Note: Students in any year of study can apply for a buddy to give them a little extra support when needed, so it might not necessarily be new students.
