We are hearing reports of hate crimes across the country and affecting many different communities, but hate crime isn’t new. In November 2015, YouGov revealed that 1 in 5 people admitted to making offensive remarks about LGBT people in the last year. In one month alone, 30 per cent of people heard offensive remarks about LGBT people, but 63 per cent didn’t do anything about it.

 

#NoBystanders is a campaign to stand up to hate and abuse.

 

We want to empower students to challenge all forms of hateful language and abuse when they can. We can only succeed if we all play a part – join us today.

 

Come along sign the pledge and share it with your friends. We need everyone’s support to tackle hate and abuse.
