YOUR Students’ Union would like to invite you to come along and share your work at our Celebration of Teaching and Learning on Friday 24th March, from 10am – 4pm at The National Glass Centre, Sunderland.

 

We are looking for Post Graduate students to come along and talk about their research. Your research can be at any stage, and you could be a post graduate taught student, or a post graduate research student.

We are looking to include a wide range of projects/activities and to showcase examples of innovative research.

You could take part in either a “round table” discussion with other students, where you would talk about your work and invite discussion and feedback, a “Pecha Kucha” presentation (a fun way to talk quickly and concisely about your work and ideas - you get 20 slides and have 20 seconds to talk about the content of each slide. After 20 seconds, the presentation automatically moves on – so you have to keep up), or, you could design a poster which would be displayed at the conference. We have funding available for 20 posters, which has been made available through the Students' Union's “Find Funding” initiative, won by post graduate student Philippa Abbott.

We will provide a really nice lunch, in a stunning location, and are planning lots of fun activities (e.g. a photo booth and a tombola where you will have the chance to win a range of prizes, including 5 x £20 Amazon vouchers).
