School Coordinator

A School Coordinator Volunteer is a volunteer role, hosted by Sunderland Students' Union, with an allowance of £1700 per year. A School Coordinator will contribute 3.7 hours per week, to be worked flexibly, over an academic year. Find out more.


Marketing & Communications Manager

Full Time (37.5 hours per week) to be worked flexibly

£26,667 - £28,455

Generous holiday allowance

 

Reporting to the Head of Policy & Communications, the Marketing & Communications Manager will ensure the Students’ Union communicates effectively with students and other key stakeholders as well as delivering a wide range of creative marketing and PR campaigns. They will also manage the SU’s partnership agreement for media sales and lead on business development and income generation opportunities.

 

This post will also line manage 2 graduate interns in the Communications Team to deliver high performance.

Student Advisor

Full Time (37.5 hours per week) to be worked flexibly

circa £23,000 pa depending on experience

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, the Student Advisor will lead the development and provision of the student advice service including  delivering high-quality information, advice and guidance to students on areas including, but not limited to, academic issues, support and sign-posting. They will help students with complex cases, and will develop resources, opportunities and partnerships that deliver on our strategic objectives. They will help students, and elected Officers represent their interests to the University and make well-informed choices on issues relating to advice including student regulations, appeals and complaints, and living in Sunderland.

Student Wellbeing Officer

Full Time (37.5 hours per week) to be worked flexibly

circa £23,000 pa depending on experience

Generous holiday allowance

 

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, the Student Wellbeing Officer will lead on the delivery of the Union’s wellbeing strategy and work, developing and delivering programmes to engage and support members in improving their wellbeing.  They will be the SU’s expert on student wellbeing, personal development and peer support, and will help to translate this knowledge across different areas of delivery in the Union.
