Digital Communications Assistant (Graduate Intern)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recent graduate to join the Students’ Union in the post of Digital Communications Assistant. The role is crucial in supporting the communications team in delivering a wide range of creative digital marketing and PR campaigns.

The role requires a graduate from a Marketing, PR, Digital or related degree background and the successful candidate will be expected to support across a number of different platforms.

School Coordinator

Are you interested in being a School Coordinator For 2017 -18?

University of Sunderland Students Union are advertising for new School Coordinators!

What are School Coordinators?

A School Coordinator Volunteer is a volunteer role, hosted by University of Sunderland Students Union, with an allowance of £1700 per year. A School Co-ordinator will contribute 3.7 hours per week, to be worked flexibly, over an academic year.

The Opportunity

School Coordinator Volunteers work with Student Representatives and help students and our Elected Officers, to engage with their schools academic development and to shape the University and broader communities.

You will represent student views within the School, fairly and accurately and take into account all student communities. You will be a member of The School Coordinators Steering Group – a joint partnership between the Student Union and The University of Sunderland.

Who can apply?

To become a School Co-ordinator Volunteer, you must have at least one year’s prior experience of higher education and be a current student at University of Sunderland and studying in the school you would like to represent.

For 2017 -18 we are looking for School Coordinators for the following schools:

  • Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences
  • School of Nursing and health Sciences
  • School of Psychology
  • Sunderland Law School
  • School of Art and Design
  • School of Media and Communications
  • School of Engineering
  • School of Computing Science
