School Coordinator Volunteer

We are working in partnership with the university to appoint nine Coordinators to represent the following schools of the university:

-School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences
-School of Business and Tourism
-School of Psychology
-School of Education
-School of Art & Design
-School of Media & Communications
-School of Engineering
-School of Culture
-School of Social Sciences

 

We will expect the successful candidates to be currently studying in the school which they represent. To be eligible for this opportunity you will need to have one year’s experience of higher education, either at University of Sunderland or elsewhere.

Activities and Opportunities Graduate Intern

We are looking for a graduate intern to assist with the development, delivery and evaluation of student activities at Sunderland SU, providing a wide-range of opportunities for students to engage in co-curricular activity. This post will help enable access, student retention, progression and attainment and will have a positive impact on students’ wellbeing, success and employability.

37.5 hours to be worked flexibly

8 month Fixed Term Contract

£17,000 per annum pro rata

Digital Media and Content Assistant Graduate Intern

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recent graduate to join the SU team as Digital Media and Content Assistant Graduate Intern, producing a range of digital assets and content including photography and videos to be used in print and online and to support the Communication Manager in a wide range of creative digital marketing campaigns. 

37.5 hours to be worked flexibly

10 month Fixed Term Contract

Representation Graduate Intern

This role supports the process of bringing students, officers and other SU staff members together to ensure that student-led ideas and campaigning are supported by staff expertise and experience. Students at Sunderland should feel that USSU is their Union and that they are able to shape and influence its priorities and work. This role is part of the team that will deliver that, and you will help students to plan and deliver successful campaigns, and develop the civic and democratic capacity to make change in their lives.

Wellbeing Graduate Intern

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the successful candidate to assist with the delivery of the Union’s wellbeing strategy and work, supporting programmes to engage and help members in improving their wellbeing. The post holder will help establish and implement USSU’s activities around wellbeing, employability, personal development and peer support.
