Student staff are employed on contract from September (or, in some cases, from the time of recruitment later in the year) to June of each academic year.

We provide opportunities for employment as:

Bar Staff, Student Representation Assistant, Kitchen Assistants and many more…..

Depending on the needs of the organisation, positions may be advertised at various times throughout the year.

All jobs are advertised around the campus, the web site, in the student publication dnMagazine and at the Careers and Employability Service in The Gateway on the City Campus.

The Students’ Union aims to offer employment and voluntary opportunities to students wherever possible. There are also many opportunities to help in temporary jobs, such as working at Registration and Freshers’ Fayre.

You can also get involved in student representation within the Students’ Union and the University, running a club or society,helping to produce dnmagazine, the student publication and much, much more…
