
Your safety is very important to us. The Students’ Union, in conjunction with the University, runs a transport service which provides FREE transport between halls of residence, University campuses and the Students’ Union.
The daytime service operates daily Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, with two routes available
The CAMPUS CIRCULAR, which takes in all halls of residence and University buildings.
We also provide an EVENING SHUTTLE service that runs 7 nights a week right through the academic term from 8pm until 10.30pm, providing a service between halls of residence and the Students’ Union Bonded bar and NorthShore.
PLEASE ACCEPT OUR APOLOGIES, due to unforeseen circumstances, with effect 22 March 2012,the SATURDAY EVENING minibus shuttle service will not be in operation until further notice Please use the GREEN Connect serivce as an alternative.
The EVENING SHUTTLE service is the perfect way to travel between the Students’ Union venues for those of you who want to socialise with friends or even meet new friends.
DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES A DRIVERS 1 HOUR REST PERIOD HAS NOW BEEN IMPLEMENTED FROM 19.30 HRS UNTIL 20.30 HRS WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT (Jan 12)
This is a legal requirement within the Driver Regulations.

On special student event nights there will be an extra bus running, please refer to the timetable for these details - Click Downloads section at the bottom of the page.
During the Stadium of Light Concerts, the bus service will finish at 9.30pm due to the Wearmouth Bridge closing at 10pm.
Timetables are also available from the Student’ Union offices in Edinburgh Building, Wearbank House and online.
The driver may request proof of I.D. this is for your own and the driver’s safety.
