1. The International Gold members’ trips are run by the University of Sunderland Students’ Union and are only available for all students who are International Gold Members of the Students’ Union.
2. Students must verify their International Gold membership when purchasing a ticket and when travelling on a trip, by producing their University/Union Campus Card and their Students’ Union International Gold membership card.

4. The trip programme, ticket prices and availability may vary from those publicised by the Students’ Union, depending on the numbers of students wanting to go on the trips.
5. There are a limited number of tickets for each trip, so tickets are only available on a first come, first served basis. Ticket sales will be closed when the allotted number of tickets for each trip have been sold.
6. An International Gold member can only purchase a single ticket for themselves. Students will not be issued with more than one ticket per trip.
7. If students are unable to attend a trip for which they have purchased a ticket, they cannot pass this ticket on to another person to use. They must either return the ticket to the Students’ Union or inform the Students’ Union that they will not be able to go on the trip.
8. Ticket holders MUST travel on the bus during both the outgoing and returning journeys. Students are prohibited from taking alternative transportation to or from the intended destination.
9. If, at any stage of a trip, you are required to return home before the designated time, you MUST inform the organiser of the trip by contacting them on the emergency numbers provided on the day of the trip.
10. Students must ensure that they keep strictly to the times given by the Students’ Union for the outgoing and returning journeys of trips. It is the responsibility of a ticket holder to make sure they adhere to the times given.
11. Every reasonable attempt will be made by the Students’ Union to ensure the safety of students travelling on an International Gold trip.
12. If any student fails to turn up for the outgoing or returning trip within a reasonable time of the designated times given for a trip, the Students’ Union reserve the right to continue the trip without them.
13. The Students’ Union reserve the right to refuse to allow any student to travel on any trip, due to failure to adhere to these terms and conditions, unacceptable behaviour on a trip or a student being deemed to be in an unfit state to travel.
14. In the case of any dispute, the Students’ Union Executive will investigate the issues involved and their resulting decision will be final.
15. The Students’ Union cannot take any responsibility for any ticket holder who does not adhere to the International Gold members’ trips terms and conditions.
16. The Students’ Union reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions, if deemed necessary.
