Police Registration

 

Depending what country you are from, you may have to register with the police.
This instruction should be endorsed in your passport. All changes of address must be reported to the police within 7 days of moving.The Police Registration Certificate (PRC) must be renewed every time your L to R is extended.

 

Over Freshers' week (17 - 21 September), International students will be able to register with the Police in Room 7, Level 2, The Gateway, after they have registered on their course with the University

 

If you are not able to do it at this time,  you need to either telephone the foreign nationals department on
0191 221 8036 or 0191 221 8037
or email [ovro@northumbria.pnn.police.uk for an appointment.


You will need to take your passport, 2 passport photographs, proof of address, attendance letter from the University, proof of payment towards tuition fees and £34.00 cash, (registration fee) with you when you attend your appointment.
