CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS 2008

The University of Sunderland has joined forces with Sunderland AFC, The Bridges Shopping Centre, Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens and Sunderland City Council to make this year's celebrations (2008) the best that has ever been celebrated in Sunderland.

To pull this off though…we’ll need your help! There are opportunities to help with...

  • Chinese Arts and Crafts workshops running at The Museum and Winter Gardens throughout the month, beginning the 5th of Feb
  • Room decoration and preparation at The Stadium of Light, on the 6th of Feb
  • marketing these events to fellow students and the public
  • translating publicity materials from English to Mandarin

And much more…

So why not welcome in the new Year of the Rat and take this opportunity to be a part of a City wide celebration.
