Progress Files

Progress Files are records of learning and achievement.

Progress Files (PDP) were introduced at the start of the academic year 2003-2004 for all 1st level full-time students who study on-campus. In the academic year 2004-2005 all 1st level and 2nd level students will be provided with this opportunity.

The Students' Union Executive Officer for Education & Welfare Officer participates in the steering group for Progress files and any feedback that you wish to provide on this initiative would be passed on to the University through the steering group.

If you would like to give feedback, please email the Education and Welfare Officer

University support for PDP

The University has assigned part of the University portal to assist staff and students in progressing through the PDP process.

We can't link you directly to the correct pages as you have to be signed into the MLE, using your email login to access. The page you need to look for is : http://mle.sunderland.ac.uk/mylearning/progress/

This page has links to Level 1 & level 2 PDP information.

The PDP pages contain downloadable copies of the various forms which can be used for implementation of PDP, although you may find that there are variations from one programme of study to another. Students and staff can download the files which can either be completed electronically (MSWord) or printed out and filled in manually (PDF). Guideline notes to the process for both staff and students are also available for
