Seminars give you a chance to ask questions & solve problems related to the current lectures and give the lecturer a chance to see where a group or an individual student may be having difficulties with the work.

Try the exercises given in the seminars
Don't be embarrassed if you can't manage, show the lecturer where you are with the work and let the lecturer show you where you have gone wrong and how to work through it.
