The Students' Union Advice Centre is separate to the University Student Services Department, and offers independent, confidential advice. It is located in the Students' Union offices on the Ground Floor of Edinburgh Building, City Campus, Chester Road.

DISABLED STUDENTS' ALLOWANCE
Do you have a disabiltiy, Specific Learning Difficulty (such as dyslexia) or mental health condition?
If so....
Did you know that you may be able to claim Disabled Students' Allowance?
Disabled Students' Allowance is paid on top of the standard student finance package to help you meet the extra course costs you can face as a result of a disability, Specific Learning Difficulty or mental health condition. It does not have to be repaid.

Please note, overseas students are not eligible to claim. Asylum seekers or refugees are also unable to claim unless resident for over three years in the UK.
