Your 2011/12 Executive Committee

Your Campus Card

Your campus card also acts as your university, library and Students’ Union card. Once you have registered with the University and uploaded your photo you will be able to pick your card up during Freshers. Details of this will be forwarded to you from the University.
There will also be opportunities to upload photos during Freshers if you have been unable to do it beforehand.

Free Transport

Your Students’ Union provides a FREE transport service to get you around the city.

Buses will run between halls of residence and main campuses and to and from North Shore on all nights during Freshers’ when you need to get to us.

Your Union is here for you.

Here at the Union we provide you with great entertainment and events, welfare and academic advice, printing and binding services and you can buy all of your official University of Sunderland merchandise from your Students’ Union.
Mak sure you collect your Students’ Union Handbook from the Students’ Union during Freshers.  We shall be part of the university registration process and we look forward to meeting you all.
Loads of info about the Union can be found over this web site so please take a few moments to check us out.

Any questions/info whether ‘big or small’ - your Union is the place to ask!!

North Shore

North Shore is the ultimate Student venue! It houses a fully-functioning Theatre and Entertainment Venue, a Bar & Grill, and bookable free meeting and rehearsal spaces for students whether via their Faculty, University Society or independently.

Degrees North Magazine

Degrees North is a student magazine filled with union news, celebrity interviews, fashion, event news and reviews as well as much, much more.

DN has some fantastic opportunities for budding writers, photographers or marketing students. DN is a good way to develop your skills and looks great on your CV.

Based at St Peters’ Campus Spark FM is a community radio station listened to all over Sunderland and beyond.

Spark FM can be found on 107 FM and also online. 

Recently Spark FM has won a whole host of awards including Community Spirit awards at the I Love Student Radio Awards.
