Advice & Support – University of Sunderland Student Support

The Gateway allows students to tap into a whole host of resources and help – from accommodation and financial advice, to careers and welfare support. It offers students a continuous support package before, during and after studying.

The Gateway team can help with advice on part-time work, information on how to open a bank account, details of places of worship and how to make contact with other students.

Accommodation staff assist students to find accommodation, change or leave present accommodation.  Students who have problems with their relationships with flatmates, and experience unhappiness due to unsatisfactory living arrangements please consult Residential Services to check if they can help.
